Kerryn Phelps was the only one to mention that there were people are staying at home because of medical reasons to avoid Covid. But hey, nothing changes does it?!!!!
It’s just not on. I don’t get the denial but people can think what they want. I don’t think it’s even remotely ok to write off anyone in our society. Ever.

I just wish your great writing could be given a broader public profile without all the issues that then come with that. I wish there was more I could do beyond my local situation (mask wearing to protect me to protect my older participants), for you, for Billy and for others in similar predicament. I am as fed up with all of you “minimizing” the risk of Long Covid as only affecting the “immunocompromised” or whatever “condition” you’re talking about, ANYBODY WHO BREATHES is at COMPARABLE RISK of Long Covid or other permanent damage, this disinformation is as fatal as any denialist’s. I had no “pre-existing condition” when I caught it two years ago replete with pulverizing LC sequelae today, as bad as ever. DON’T MISLEAD PEOPLE, EVERYONE IS EQUALLY AT RISK!!
There’s no misleading, Dan. My focus is on the medically vulnerable. Repeatedly, in many posts I have spoken about the fact everyone is at risk. The fact remains, those who have lived their lives with pre-existing medical vulnerabilities or who have acquired medical vulnerability are at acknowledged risk from COVID infection.
This whole situation is an inexplicable shit show and the fact it has left you and so many other perfectly healthy people in extreme ill-health is absolutely abominable. I am very sorry you and so many others have been left in this position, with little help for the most part.
This Substack is particularly focused on people like my son, but so many are in an unconscionable position and it can’t go on.
